This is a self portrait carved out of a single aspirin. Check out the insane craftmanship and imagination of the artist, Tom Friedman.

My ongoing list of things that someone could make a million dollars on if they brought it over to England (and vice versa).

Things we could teach them
Furnaces instead of radiators, double-glazing and 200% humidity.
Mix taps in the bathroom instead of split taps and cleaning the sink everytime you want to wash your face.
Salt goes in the one with lots of holes, pepper goes in the one with one hole.
Hot tap/cold tap, left/right standardization.
Cheap sushi.
There are places in the Far East other than China.
Water pressure should be higher in the shower than the toilet.

Things they could teach us
240 Volts of tea boiling, toast making power.
How to make proper chips/fries.
Mustard--hot, strong and lots of it.
Cheese should have a detectable cheesy flavour

More to come. I know they'll all pumbing-related but it's a real issue here!

Alright, I didn't quite move to London, but to beautiful Birmingham. Pictures of everything that pleased me during my journey are here.
