Ouch!

I got squished last week by a driver turning right without looking on Essex Road....ouch!

I've got some general mangled-ness, and a rather spectacular bruise on my chin that looks like I'm growing a goatee! But nothing broken and all appendages still attached.

Sadly the bike won't heal as well as I will...a write-off means my third new bike in two years! At least I'm keeping up with the latest model.

Bike-stealing Scum

We London cyclists are so angry about bike theft, especially with the blatent market for it near where I live on Brick Lane.

Imagine how infuriating to read this! Policeman sold stolen bikes on eBay

Inside Humphrey's Wimbledon home, police found 10 bicycles, ranging in price from £700 to £1,500. Humphrey, who was with the Royal Parks Constabulary for 20 years before his arrest, claimed he bought the bikes for cash and in good faith from Brick Lane market.
What cheek!
