Holiday! Celebrate!

Today is the beginning of Floralia: The Roman festival known as the Ludi Florales in honor of the Roman goddess Flora.

Please feel free to send gifts, or simply release rabbits and deer in your nearest coliseum.

Graphomatic UK Political survey

Here is a quite amazing survey that quizzes you a little bit and then slices and dices your responses in comparison with other people in the UK and your area.

According to this, I am a very left-wing internationalist rehabilitationist (as opposed to a hanging/flogging Eurosceptic) -- more so than 97% of the UK population! But I am an econimic centrist! Who knew!

Let's Vote (or Not)

If you are a UK citizen, or a Commonwealth citizen living in the UK, you can vote in the upcoming election on May 5. (But strangely, not EU citizens—see Who can vote?

If you're not already registered, go to About My Vote and get a form from your local authority. You can also get a form to register for a postal vote so that you don't have to get out of your isolation tank.

If you have questions, you can call the The Electoral Commission at 020 7271 050.

The BBC has published a handy Party Policies At-A-Glance to help you decide who to vote for.

Or, if you just can't face it, use notapathetic.com to tell the world why you're not going to vote!
