I heart the Donald

I am absolutely pissing myself reading the new Donald Trump blog. From recent entry Success with Style:

The glamour and grandeur of my buildings and my life are no mere trappings. Beauty and elegance, whether in a woman or a work of art, is not something superficial, not just something pretty to look at. It's a product of style, and it comes from deep inside.
And the comments! They are obviously closely moderated, as most read like the kind of thing I have to post to myself:

Comment: Donald, I couldn't agree more -- you have a terrific style and class. It seems that when God made you, He broke the mold -- I'm pretty sure that we'll never see another Donald Trump.
But I am beyond glee to see that they have approved a tart comment from me--bonus points for guessing which part of the quote above drew my ire!

I officially love the Donald!

UPDATE: Never say one person can't make a difference! ;)
Trump University is developing a new "women-centric" curriculum
Slight typo with the scare quotes there, allow me to fix it:
Trump "University" is developing a new women-centric curriculum
Get your "strategic visioning" here, ladies!

I hope you like jammin' too

As you will read on homecanning.ca: A hectic, active lifestyle never stops [Flora] from capturing the essence of fresh picked berries in delicious freezer jams that showcase her spirit and creativity.

In that spirit (and creativity), I have woken up early on a Saturday, gone to the organic farmers market, found it sold out at 2pm, and bought 2kg of strawberries via Web grocery delivery.

So this weekend is jammy weekend! Wish me luck. Thirty minutes to homemade, baby.

The monumentality of what had happened would overwhelm even the artistic impulse itself

Last night, Ali and I stood with a man who was threatening to jump off London Bridge.

I wrote a bit about it at Metroblogging London, here..

Programmer Job available

I'm having a heck of a time finding the perfect person to fill our programmer vacancy here at RD:IR.

Save me! If you would like to be our web applications developer, email me.

Be our solo programmer ninja. ASP, ASP.NET, XML/XSLT, some desktop application programming experience, and a good grasp of English required. It's a fun place to work in central London, and a good job where you can bust out and do your own thing.
