What did she tell her parents?

I'm sure you have all heard about the Komodo dragon that is having babies with no daddy via parthenogenesis.

But did you know her name is Flora?

Dad's Tomato Garden Journal

Thanks Eric for posting on my tagboard another elder blog: Dad's Tomato Garden Journal. Not my dad, mind.

This blog is ostensibly about growing tomatoes, but is really about having a nice coffee and a chat. How lovely!

Don to Earth

I've been enjoying reading the blog of Canadian 93-year-old Don Crowdis, who was the first host of The Nature of Things. Of course, it doesn't hold a candle to my own grandpa's (snail-mail) (b)log, but I love to reading the elder perspective.

The blog made me laugh with a quote from GK Chesterton: To be clever enough to get a great deal of money, one must be stupid enough to want it.

Surrounded by City types in London, it's a good one to remember.
